From 12.30pm stalls at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar include SfbBooks, Peace Groups, UAF, Green Trade Unionists, IWW, SUTR, Campaign Against Poverty, ACE, Abortion Rights, Living Rent, SPSC and Edinburgh Trades Council

The march leads of from the top of Johnston Terrace at midday – marching down the Royal Mile and then up to the Pleasance. The rally will take place indoors in the Pleasance theatre – our speakers include: Dave Moxham (Deputy General Secretary of the STUC), A.L. Kennedy (author, performer and anti-war campaigner), Jane McAlevey (activist and union organiser from the United States) and Alison Gilmour active in the UCU pensions dispute.

The rally after the march includes speakers, a film and musicians. One of those singing is Penny Stone – the video is of her singing at the Violence of Austerity event last year.
