May Day 2019 organising meeting – Monday 26 November, 7pm at the Epworth Halls, Nicolson Square – come along if you want to get involved

At the last two organising meetings we’ve been looking at the feedback from the 2018 events and starting the planning for 2019. We’ve seen a steady increase in numbers on the march over the last two or three years and the other events around May Day have been popular. The events rely 100% on donations and we’re hugely grateful to all those who contributed in 2018. Costs are rising though, and on the year we had a deficit of a thousand pounds. If you are a member of a trade union (or community organisation) do take a resolution to the next meeting asking for support for Edinburgh and Lothians May Day – if you would like an official request email robplynl@hotmail.com

The 2019 march and rally will take place on Saturday 4th May. We expect other events to be organised around that date.
